About the Role

LiveX AI builds AI infrastructure for the physical world — deploying interactive AI agents and hardware into high-foot-traffic venues like hotels, retail flagships, convention centers, and stadiums. Every deployment is custom: it pulls together sales, solution engineering, warehouse readiness, and a third-party delivery partner, and it only succeeds when all of them stay in sync. We're looking for a Deployment Project Manager to own that end to end.

This is a cross-functional coordination role for someone with a hungry startup mindset who can read a technical scope, run a schedule, and hold multiple stakeholders accountable. You will be the single owner of each deployment from signed contract to live, working install — driving the SOW, tracking solution engineers through implementation, coordinating logistics and warehouse readiness, and keeping the customer informed. You will report to the founding team and work daily with sales, solution engineering, and the office/logistics function.

What You'll Own

End-to-End Deployment Ownership

• Be the single accountable owner for every deployment from signed contract to a live, working installation at the customer site.

• Run the deployment schedule — define milestones, sequence dependencies, track status, and surface risks and blockers early.

• Serve as the internal hub across sales, solution engineering, and the office/logistics function so nothing falls in the seams between teams.

Scope & Solution Engineering

• Drive a clear, complete Statement of Work (SOW) from sales and sales engineering before each deployment kicks off; push back when scope is ambiguous.

• Track solution engineers through implementation against the SOW, keeping configuration and readiness on schedule.

• Translate customer requirements and site constraints into a concrete deployment plan.

Logistics & Warehouse Coordination

• Coordinate with the office/logistics owner and the third-party delivery partner on delivery windows, pickup, and destination readiness.

• Confirm warehouse readiness ahead of each deployment — items staged, configured, and health-checked before they ship.

• Manage installation scheduling and any returns or de-installations.

Customer & Communication

• Be the customer-facing point of contact during rollout — set expectations, communicate timelines, and manage change requests.

• Run deployment kickoffs and post-deployment reviews; capture lessons and feed process improvements back into the playbook.

• Report deployment status and pipeline of upcoming installs to the founding team.

Process & Systems

• Build and maintain the deployment playbook, checklists, and tracking so the process is repeatable and scalable.

• Own the tooling that tracks deployment status, asset location, and readiness across the fleet.

What We're Looking For

• A hungry, startup mindset above all — you thrive in ambiguity, move fast, roll up your sleeves for whatever a deployment needs, and take extreme ownership. You're energized by an early-stage, resource-constrained environment and do what it takes to make each install land.

• 3+ years in project management, implementation/deployment management, technical program management, or field-services coordination — ideally at a startup, hardware, or solutions company.

• Proven ability to run multi-stakeholder projects on a schedule and hold others accountable without direct authority.

• Comfortable reading and reasoning about a technical scope of work; able to talk credibly with solution engineers.

• Strong coordination and communication skills across internal teams, external partners, and customers.

• Highly organized and self-directed; able to build process from scratch rather than inherit it.

• Calm under pressure and biased toward closing gaps — when a deployment is at risk, you drive it to resolution.

Nice to Have

• Experience deploying hardware or physical installations into venues or field sites.

• Familiarity with project/deployment tracking tools and a CRM (e.g., HubSpot).

• Background coordinating logistics, shipping, or warehouse operations.

• PMP or similar project management credential (not required).

Why This Role Matters

A signed contract is only revenue once the hardware is deployed and working at the customer site. Deployment is our most cross-functional and highest-risk workstream, and it's the easiest to drop when it's split across other roles. This position exists to own it outright — to be the person who makes sure every deployment lands, on time and to spec — and to build the process that lets us scale deployments across the country.

LiveX AI is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
